I explore the question: what factors contribute to the underdiagnosis of cognitive disabilities like ADHD for racialized women in Canada?

Exploring this research question contributes to existing Canadian literature on health inequities and clearly demonstrates that sexism and racism have been institutionalized in Canadian healthcare systems. The findings of this project will be beneficial to Canadian health practitioners and policymakers to ensure that there are accessible and helpful healthcare services and support for racialized women seeking diagnosis for cognitive disabilities.
